I can understand the situation and I had no issue with the 1-2 week delay statement. What is aggravating is when you email the person to inquire, after the "grace" period, and they do not respond.
Seems like other people have had better success from vendors and not from the manufacturer. I guess this is what I get for trying to directly support someone's business instead of going through a middleman.
