2015 : Anyone have their hops growing yet?

They are just now poking their heads out here in Sullivan County, NY...

Any NY growers starting to harvest?

Hey all, I have some 2nd year Cascade and Willamette (growing in western Hudson Valley) and seems they are getting very close to ready. Anyone else growing in this area have insight or making preparations to harvest? Cheers!

    First batch this Wednesday

Hey all, Getting ready to brew my first batch and wondering how much time I should set aside for the process... Will be brewing a red ale.

    Cascade and Willamette

Thanks for the input! I actually have two beds going (1 for each variety) with 6 rhizomes planted in each bed -- so will not have to worry about them mingling together. I'm not expecting to get a huge harvest, but something would be nice. Thanks again!

    Cascade and Willamette

I'm a first year grower and am wondering how soon I should be expecting cones to develop. Living in the southern Catskills (NY State). First two pics are Cascade and third pic is Willamette. Any pointers are greatly appreciated!

    Hi all.

I'm a new home brewer...starting my first batch when I return home from July 4th vacation. Living in southern Catskills region, former hop growing capital of the country. I will be starting off with a recipe from Northern Brewer (red ale). Look forward to learning from all who use and share...
