Had a Lagunitas Cappucino Stout last year and nearly died it was soooo good. Need a partial extract recipe for a Cappucino Choc. Stout. I have never been this creative with a brew (fairly newer brewer 1.5 years) so I have no idea how to add the coffee....does it need to be ground or just put...
Not too sure what I like better yet. Just brewed my first batch combining leaf and pellets. From what I tasted at bottling it was a GREAT combo!!! Brewed Jeff Bagby's Hop Whompus with some minor adjustments....HOLY HOPS!!!:mug:
Welcome:
I'm new myself to this site and have found it VERY useful. I would try a five gallon batch. You really don't need a lot of room....just a burner on your stove and away you go!
When dry hopping into the secondary fermenter....just drop the pellets in? And...when getting ready to bottle do I need to strain as I did before placing in the primary fermenter or just siphon carefully?
What's up fellow Brewmasters? I stumbled upon this website in hopes of finding some info on dry hopping with pellets. I found it to be useful so I signed up! Cheers!
