    Drinking hose

    Yeah, I would think after every use you'd want to hang the hose over your basketball hoop or a branch or something so it drains and dries out completely before you put it away. A hose sitting with water in it in the sun or hot garage a month between brews sounds dangerous.

    Used Too Little Sparge Water

    I had a brew day this winter where my boil off got out of control "I guess if I ever wanted to know what happens if you do it this way I'm going to find out". Nothing wrong with the beer (just me).

    Don't Do That.

    Turn the pressure up all the way to get that last little bit of CO2 out. Go buy CO2 refill and connect it up - psssssst - dang a CO2 leak somewhere. Take apart, replace washer, mess around with this and that, reconnect - pssst - dang I still have a CO2 leak. Do a big old tear down to figure out...

    Controling hot break boil over

    I suppose the tiny Fermcap bottle could get wort in it if you had it squished to drop some drops in and let go of the bottle just as it got splashed with wort coming back up the other way? With Fermcap available I don't know why anybody would do anything else. One wee bottle lasts one...

    Hot tap water for mashing?

    I sparged the last 3 brews with hot tap water measured in a bucket, saves on a kettle and is effortless. There's 4 showers and a dishwasher cycling all the water in the hot water heater everyday if you ask me. I haven't noticed any drop in quality so I'm going to keep doing it. It's Lake...
