Should I be worried about any other toxic materials that could have been in the galvanized coating? Like anti rust chemicals or anything. There was a slight black layer of grime on it when I pulled it from the Star San. The paint stirrer only came in contact with my wort for about 30 seconds...
Damn I was really excited about this brew. So should I toss the batch or no? It just started fermenting. What are the real taste/possible health concerns because most of the plating probably just diluted in the Star San tub, right?
