just threw in the yeast...it is a three piece and has the line I see but its filled 1/2 way....didn't know if there was anything i could do wrong.

My first batch! Just started today...unsure if I've filled the econolock/air lock device correctly....its half full per the instructions but not sure if any liquid should be in the narrow tube portion of the device that goes down into the bucket....Advice? Checked inside and there is foam on...
