A couple of guys in another forum were talking about brewing. Went to the google and found this forum. Wife bought a starter kit from NB as a Christmas gift a few years ago. Been great.

I followed the recipe exactly and ended at 1.012. Looks and smells great. Just kegged and will be tasting Saturday for the first football game of the year. Should let it rest another week as the sample tasted a tad bitter, but whatever. Thanks for the recipe! Go Hogs!

Just kegged this recipe from my first AG batch. Had to much boil-off which left me with 4.75g in the fermenter, but nailed the OG and FG. How did this happen? Anyway, tastes and smells great. Thanks!

I found a 5cuft on Craigslist for $40. I can fit two carboys if I don't need a heater (one on the hump). I would look for at least a 7.5cuft if I were doing it again.

I went with the Wyeast 3068 (the weihenstephan) after some searching here on the forum. The smack pack is swollen, so everything looks in good order.
