I think they both work fine but I like better bottles because there are so light and easy to move around.
I bought the ones with spigots but they were a bit expensive so if I was to do over again I would just get the normal better bottles.

Bottled my first batch today and everything went well except the darn bottling wand does not seem to fit the bottling bucket.

I watched a video where it had someone open bottles at different times of carbonation.
The ones he open early just foamed out real qucik and werent carbonated.
I would say just let it age a few more weeks and check it then.
