I recently bought a 3 gal carboy and the bung I was sold was the same as the 1 gals. I was shaking up my must after pitch and my thumb pushed it all the way in. I now have to figure how to get it out, will it make it taste off and whether I contaminated the batch. won't know for months.

+ 3 gallons plain mead (wild flower blend mostly clover with about 10% manuka) + 1 gallon bochet. 189.5

Hi. I've just begun my first ever attempts. 02/09/16 - 1 gallon plain honey 02/10/16 - 1 gallon lemon, lime and ginger (which might need the acid level lowered) I'll make that 100 because I figure it's the starting volume if we're going by date yeast added.
