    The Perlicks have a longer through than the Interflow or even the old conventional Perlicks.

    Maybe the washers are not in the correct order. The beveled plastic washer is in contact with the ball of the tap handle and the rubber washer is below and above the beveled washers. If they are installed correctly, it does not have to be very tight.

    It sounds like the bonnet is not tight. I have 5 ventmatics and they are the best that I have. The Perlick 425 might be as good but I only have the perl.

    The spouts are not the same as the Ventmatic. I have Ventmatic and the spouts on the Intertaps have a larger thread than the spouts on the Ventmatic. Someone said that the spouts on the Intertap will fit on the Perlick 425.

    As a matter of fact the spouts are a different thread size and the washer for the spout is located differently and the shuttle is shorter than the VentMatic but everything else looks the same. I have 5 VentMatic's and am trying the Inertap to see if it is as good. Will report in a month or so.

    The Intertap looks just like the Ventmatic that I have. They work great. Better than any tap that I have seen.
