    Innis & Gunn?

I love this beer! It's my favourite and when I perfect those recipes for clones I will be one happy gal.

You know you're a home brewer when?

When you go to bottle and realise you've not got enough bottles, so your options are go and beg at the local pub or drink more beer. I guess bottling will have to wait!

You know you're a home brewer when?

When you watch your airlock more than you watch tv, and you find the 'bloop bloop bloop' sound relaxing (that sound drives my boyfriend crazy).

Bananas Foster Creamy Ale (All Grain) **pic intensive**

I attempted a gluten free version of this using a basic recipe and then added the banana rum mix at secondary. This is 24 hours on and that gross mix floating at the top looks like it's breathing.

    1-Gallon Brewers UNITE!

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to use a beer kit for a 1 gallon batch, and just divide it by 5? Would the rest of the kit keep? Could I just keep it in the fridge, if so, how long? I'm exploring clarity ferm on the effects of gluten in beer, so reluctant to buy grains right now.

    Boyfriend contaminated beer....is it salvageable?

Thanks guys, for the info and hilarious replies. I'm gonna see how the beer turns out. It'll only be me drinking it cos it's gluten free, so I shall determine the grossness of it when it comes to drinking time. Friends won't be sampling it and if boyfriend drinks it, who cares, is his spit...

    Boyfriend contaminated beer....is it salvageable?

This is my first brew, I'm doing a one gallon batch. I had my boyfriend help me bottle the beer, in which we were using the tube to suction from the pot and bf sucks the sanitizer through the tube with his mouth until the beer comes through (possibly not the greatest technique) and he then spits...
