Any one leave star San in there kegs for long periods of time? What I do is put five gallons of star san in my carboys on brew day, when the brew day is done I siphon to a corney and hit with some co2. Anyone see any problems with leaving star San in your kegs for several weeks or months?

Look at your crush, then I would check the crush, and lastly I would try a better crush. Good luck you will get it.

I have used Flex Pex for mine they are not clear but work well enough to see water in my HLT.

Does anyone have experience with skunking during active fermentation?

This may sound silly but was just wonder if it is necessary to cover your carboys to limit sunlight exposure during fermentation? I have done this for years, what does everyone else do?
