I'm a Scorpio. I am married! I have 3 kids. 2 girls and a brew dog! I work too hard and brew too little. My hobbies include building brewing equipment, obsessing about sanitization, obsessing about fermentation, filling kegs, and emptying kegs. I also hope to some day teach the less the less fortunate about saccharomyces propagation & the isomerization of alpha acids during hop stands at different temperatures.

- My dad was an abusive alcoholic. I wanted nothing to do with alcohol. I didn't have a drink until I was 34. It was a wedding at August Schell Brewery in New Ulm Minnesota. Firebrick Lager! Delicious! Fell in love with beer & off the deep end I went! By the time I was 38 I bought a Brewers Best homebrew kit and fell off the deep end again! Here I am 4 years later with 3 kettles, 2 burners, an electric kettle and controller, a cooler mash tun, a temp controlled fermentation fridge, a 4 tap Keezer and a 10 foot hop garden with 10 plants! I built most of it myself! And now today (4/14/18) I became a supporter of HomeBrew Talk! It's good to see there are others with my sickness!
