    Grain crush/mill question.

Yes, so far. I've done a few brews, settling in w/ my measurements and numbers before changing anything. I've used barley and rye, no wheat yet. Dump it all in, and pull the trigger on my drill! K

    Grain crush/mill question.

I got a Cereal Killer from Adventures in Homebrewing for Christmas. Since then my efficiencies have gone from 55-65% up to 80-85%. I set my gap at about 0.029". Full volume BIAB w/ Wilserbags. I've been brewing all grain w/ various systems since 1996, and have never seen efficiencies this...

Blonde Ale Centennial Blonde (Simple 4% All Grain, 5 & 10 Gall)

I've brewed this numerous times, and its now a standard at my house and my brother-in-laws house who I brew for. I always brew it per the original recipe. Recently I've come into a bunch of El Dorado hops. Has anyone done this brew w/ a single hopped El Dorado? What do you think? K

    Distilling a sour red ale?

How the sour beer run go? Asking for a friend... I understand that friend did ~40 gal of sour and old beer. It has a particular odor that i don't care for. It'll be interesting to see how it ages. K

    Utility sink recommendations wanted

Yeah, mines been in for probably a decade, so I'm sure I didn't pay that! I've got the base at 30" and the rim at 39 1/2", so its definitely work to raise a full carboy into the sink, but the working height is good when cleaning things, so a trade off. I can't stand bending over to work, so...

    Utility sink recommendations wanted

I've got one like this that I built at a normal sink height. Maybe a bit shorter. MOP Sink Service Basin White Single Bowl Floor Mount Center Drain 36 X 24 X 10in for sale online | eBay Its a comfortable height, and is working really well for me. I've had this in place for probably a decade...

What's the "weirdest" ingredient you've used?

I've not brewed with anything unusual, but years ago at the Chicago National Homebrewers Conference I had a variety of beers that Larry Bell brought for his talk on unusual brewing ingredients. If memory serves me correctly he had a beer with Rocky Mountain Oysters, and I want to say one with a...

Blonde Ale Centennial Blonde (Simple 4% All Grain, 5 & 10 Gall)

Love this beer. I've brewed it a few times now, and the last was a 10 gal batch, grain to glass in 1 week!!! It was a bit green, but easily drinkable, and improved by the day. Awesome recipe! K

    New e-brewery

Thanks! I'd seen that but assumed that the drop box link contained the same two sheets of paper that came w/ my controller. Hopefully I'll have time to play around tonight.

    New e-brewery

And I'm back!! Finally getting back to this build. Had some issues last night w a leak in my hot pod from brewhardware. Operator error. I was over tightening and blowing out an oring. Tonight everything is fired up and heating water!!! Now on to calibrating my TD4 and tuning. Is there...
