    2 Vessel no Sparge Brewing

BIAB may be where I end up although I was hoping to avoid the hassle of handling that heavy brew bag! I guess that's the trade off for brewing on a 2 vessel setup. There's Pros and Cons to all sides! Thanks!

    2 Vessel no Sparge Brewing

Thanks for the reply! I planned on adding a mash out to my next brew but never thought about how fine the grain should be. I'll add this to my notes!

    2 Vessel no Sparge Brewing

From what I gather with brewing on a no sparge system the process has to be tweaked somewhat to make up for efficiency loss. Any advice, links or recipes to share would be greatly appreciated! Brew on! Prost!

    K-rims

I see what you're sayin! Makes sense! I'm still testing this new system but everything I've seen so far is very promising regarding temps!

    K-rims

I do have one in the boil kettle. I just move the plug depending on mash or boil.

    New Rig is almost ready

Brew stands are like a piece of fine art, no two are ever exactly alike. I built my rims system to run on 120v and it maintains mash temperature no problem. The extra burner is to help give the water that extra boost to get up to temp.

    New Rig is almost ready

Looks nice, I built mine 2 years ago. 120v RIMS with propane for the boil. Right now I'm upgrading to a 220v full electric basement setup. I'll post pictures when complete.

    Single Tier w/RIMS Build 2016

It's probably fair to say that I jumped in way over my head with this build having very little all grain experience....but hey, ya gotta start somewhere, right? It took a lot of hard work, a lot of testing and an equal amount of WTF's to get this where it is today! With 2 (test)brews on this rig...

Mash tun is all electric with the RIMS set up, runs on 120v and has an AUBER pid Temp controller. So far it preforms well!!
