I would have to agree here, Did you notice if the tablets completely disolved prior to pitching your yeast? I generally give the Camden tabs 36-48 hours. Many let then sit 24.

Can Pectic Enzyme be used with Pear as well?

Give it time... Lots of time. I let my cider sit three months on primary, then rack to clean carboy, and give it another 2-3 Months.

I use ice for my topf off all the time. Approx, 8lbs per gallon. you could also make a couple filtered water ice bricks to drop in the brew kettle...

I have a similar problem. However I am worried that I lost the crop. I planted the 12-18" tall plants in the garden, helped them long the twine, and watered. Then within 4 days they were 100% wilted and gone.

I ordered online. They all came from Northwest Hops.

It should be fine. We use Soap as a wetting agent for golf course greens. I would not worry.
