Haze is the craze right now. Quite honestly, I never fin any more. I don't mind a little haze in my ales, and I don't send any out for judging. If they taste good, drink them and relax.

Brew up a bunch of S.M.A.S.H. beers to get to know your grains and hops and how they work together. Take careful notes, what you like and what you don't. Then start combining the stuff that suits your taste.
