About two teaspoons sounds about right. It was premeasured with the orange peel in the kit. I think the problem was that they were in the fermentor for two weeks. The little seedies were clogging up my bottling tip. Quite a pain :rolleyes: It's been about a month, a few days before Fran started...

Yeah, I wanted to make a three gallon batch. I put together only one gallon today to see where it stood. It came up to 1.145:eek: So I ended up using only 36oz in the whole three gallon batch with eight pounds honey and two and half gallons water. It ended up a little more than three gallons...
Does any one have the book Making Wild Wines and Meads by Patty Vargus and Rich Gulling? There is a recipe in there I would like to try but it seems a little strange to me. It is for one gallon as follows

heheh! Mine's already bubbling:p The sampler of yeast didn't go after three days so I pitched a tube of belguin sasion wlp565. Might be a little sweet but there is no such thing as bad beer :D

I haven't but I have a witbeir kit I plan to brew this weekend with a starter from Blue Moon yeast. Give me three weeks I'll tell you how it turns out :cool:
