    Stirring priming solution (or failure to do so).

    I only stir the priming solution about half of the time and I've never had a bottle bomb. As long as you put the solution in before you rack onto it I don't think it should be any problem.

    Missed gravities...please help identify why

    Do you raise the temp to 168 or 170 for a mashout? That might help. I use a CPVC manifold, not a bag, and I slow sparge (like you) and I get 85-90+% efficiency. I also stir the grains once every 15 minutes or so, but I don't think that improves the efficiency too much.

    Mash tun temp

    I use this website to figure out my strike temp and I have enough space in my MLT. I guess it depends on how many qts/lb you use whether your stuff will fit. Bear in mind, those 10-gallon gatorade coolers will actually hold a bit more than 10 gallons.
