My new brew system, a brutus 10 with some nice modifications

Ok, I'm not sure about your transformer wiring to get 24V but research it and you'll find out. Now you don't say, but I'll assume that the 24 volts you talk about is DC and NOT AC. If this is the case then there is no "neutral" in the 24Vdc circuit just a positive (+) and a negative (-). The...

    A legality question!

how is this for an answer....Brew it for your friends and get them to pay you money for the beer. You don't tell anyone and have your friends do the same. Since your friends like the homebrew and are getting it for a hell of a lot cheaper then the crap beer you get from the store and since...

Anticipated OG: 1.054 Plato: 13.43 - this is what the "Original Gravity" should be after brewing. Plato is just another way of measuring the fermentables in the wort. Anticipated SRM: 4.1' - this is the colour (or color for the American counterpart) Anticipated IBU: 30.5 - the bitterness...

Why not use a stir plate in fermentation?

I don't mean to beat a dead post with a sick, but has anyone ever tried to do a controlled test? It would be interesting to see the results, but as Revvy posted in the other post, why change something that isn't broken. Still I do like to see/read results of experiments!
