    Just tossed them in the freezer. Now for one more stupid question, do I have to thaw them out , I assume not as they go into the boiling wort which should do the trick ? Yes Again thanks for the info

    Totally jealous. Waiting for my carboy and wort chiller to get here. Have everything else. Was planning to do an Irish red ale kit, using the carboy for secondary fermentation. Cheere

    Hi All Getting ready to brew my very first brew. I actually got my Irish red ale brew kit in April. Should I have put all the ingredients (malt extract, grain, hops) in the fridge ?.I have them stored in our garage. Any answers would be appreciated. Thanks Richie
