So with the Kit right below this one , I am able to choose a kettle size. With 30 quart stainless steel kettle , I loose the beer bottles which is no biggie , Rather have the kettle size anyways. Comes in about 13 bucks more.

The only thing I see that I would want different is that it comes with 20 Qt kettle which is only 5 gallons max. Wouldn't a larger kettle be better since most Brewing kits come in a 5 gallon recipe?

OK here's a dumb question from a Rookie, Is this a gasket and is it supposed to be here? I was looking at the new rig I got and this rubber piece seems odd. It sits where the Co2 intake is.

Did you start with Extract or go stright to All grain/ Partical grain mash brewing? I am going to take it slow at first and do my research before i make a first purchase of anything. I already know what the first step is, a 6 pack and a to start making a list for equipment.
