I am selling my keezer because I am moving into a new place. It is a 5.0 Cu Older Kenmore chest freezer that i put a wooden collar on. I have adjusted the coarse temperature adjustment so it stays right above freezing but can reset it for you or show you how do to it in the case that you want to...
All of this information is very helpful! I am going to run some of these schematics by my friend who is an electrician and see if he can look at my house and see what will work. Thanks all of you
i really want to get into electric brewing due to the high cost of propane these days. I have been reading a lot about Ebrewing and was wondering if anyone had any part lists or schematics for a 120v 5-10 gallon ebrewery.
Cheers :tank:
nice man brewing on kauai. I grew up in kilauea and still have a house there thats awesome that you are brewing over there we are in dire need of an excellant micro brewery over there.
yeah looks like it will be awesome and cheap for brewing. I am going to get this and make a couple modifications. Looks like i will be brewing a lot this summer!
I just found this on amazon and looks like it would be awesome for a 2 tier set up. What do you guys think?

Its nothing special but its mine. I am going to be adding 3-4 more taps in the next month or so. I was able to adjust the freezer temp using the coarse adjustment so i did not have to buy a temperature controller.
I just set up my Kenmore keezer and am trying to fine tune the coarse adjustment so that i dont have to buy a temperature controller. Has anyone had success with doing this with one of these freezers or am i better off just buying a temperature controller.
yes the new guts worked perfect the mini fridge was ice cold. I was wondering if maybe the freezer unit had to be enclosed in a small area possible to get cold enough to cool the fridge? i made sure to be careful and not bend or tweak anything
