Once we get a little closer to open we will definitely be drafting volunteers that we will bribe with beer, special access, etc. The stuff on the site right now is just through cafe press. We a getting branded willie becher glasses for our main glass at the tap room but haven't yet purchased...

Although our location is nailed down, we just have to wait for a few more formalities to be cleared up before we can announce our location. On our website front page there is currently an Ominous Countdown. Who knows, maybe when that finishes, some new info will come to light. Or, maybe we...

We hadn't updated this for a while so thought I would post some updates. Our 3 BBL nanobrewery and taproom will be opening in the fall and we take possession of our location in July. We are focusing primarily on in house pint and growler sales with limited distribution. After looking at a...

Thanks for all the well wishes. Once we start construction, I am sure we will take all the help we can get from people around Indy and the interwebs at large. We've always envisioned this undertaking as a community project and we would love everyone to be involved. We'll provide the beer::mug:

I thought I would update the thread after a long hiatus. We are still looking to open up our brewery, probably beginning construction in the fall of 2011 and opening in spring 2012. For us, crowd funding did not work because most people we talked to would rather put up larger amounts of money...

heywolfie1015 Here is a quick and dirty draft we came up with for the saucy intruder. We have a friend from undergrad who is an artist who will probably do the actual artwork for us, so we are just brainstorming ideas for now. We were going to call it Hop Shortage until we realized...

That is probably true. I wasn't thinking about the BMC lobby.

Assumption of Risk is an awesome name idea for a high alcohol beer. We were trying to think of a few legal phrases we could throw into the beer names without making them inaccessible to non-legal drinkers.

Man, vinter's must have a much better lobby at the statehouse than brewers in Indiana. Wineries only have to put up a $1,000 surety bond while it is $10,000 for breweries. Oh well.

We haven't nailed the location down yet, but right now are focusing on either the Fountain Square area or the Near Eastside due to lower real estate costs and some grants that are currently available.

Upon entering into the last year of law school, my friends and I became certain that we would much rather brew beer than work anywhere in the legal profession. We had been joking about the prospect for many years and we continued to homebrew more than study. After talking with a bunch of...
