    Adding honey.

Ahhhh thank you. I was thinking 2 pounds to five gallons? Just enough to add a hint but not turn it into mead.

    Adding honey.

Ok I just started home brewing and am very uninformed about most everything about it so if this is a dumb question I apologize. I am making a fat tire clone and was thinking about what it would taste like if I added honey. So my question is could I add the honey once I transfer the beer to the...

    Bray's One Month Mead

I'll have to try your recipe with our three kinds. Still I'm particular to the orange blossom over the tupelo.

    Bray's One Month Mead

I'm new so bare with me but I thought you needed a lot of sugar for the fermentation? When I say knew I mean I'm attempting my first ever mead/ home brew this weekend kind of new. As far as shipping I am currently trying to get my old school father-in-law to set up a website so we can easily...

Love of rose would the lower sugar content of tupelo make a difference? Also what part of FL are you from. We make honey and sell from Tampa north.

Thanks. I was thinking about swapping the raisins for cranberries since I'm hoping to be drinking this batch with Easter dinner.

The recipe calls for: 1 gallon filtered water 23-28 raisins 1 to 2 oranges 3 pounds honey ( I'm using honey I collected this spring it is a an orange blossom) One packet yeast.

Hey all I'm going to be attempting a my first mean this coming weekend. My father-in-law owns an apiary and I have more honey than I know why to do with. My question is that I want to use orange blossom honey and add oranges also. Am I going to go overboard on the orange flavor?
