Just recently got back into the hobby. Racked a SMASH ale to keg last night, and brewed an American Wheat ale that will be a cherry wheat. First try at no chill brewing. Will be putting it into the fermenter tonight.
From Thursday but didn't have time to post till now:
Cleaned/de-labeled about a case and a half of random bottles I had sitting around
Bottled a batch of Apfelwein
Bottled a batch of Skeeter-Pee
Short term:
Transition to 2.5 gallon BIAB batches (can do with my current equipment)
Start using some sort of fermentation temp control
Long Term:
We're house shopping, so brew space is a consideration there
Once settled in to new house, transition to 5 gallon BIAB or traditional All-grain...
Not technically brewing, but gonna start a batch of mead I had intended to start on 12-12-12 but was too lazy to do anything that day. Working nights will do that to ya on your days off.
Happy Anniversary to you!
Finished off another bottle of wine to add to my collection of empties. Getting ready to start a batch of mead and need lots of empty wine bottles.
Got everything together to brew my Kolsh ale tomorrow.
Just getting back into brewing. Emptied out some bottles from an old batch, cleaned/dusted off equipment. Ordered ingredients from AHS for my next two brews (A Kolsh and apfelwein).
