I paid an arm and a leg for a new stout brew kettle and it came and noticed after a water rinse that some welds rip apart paper towels and some look rusty. The photos were rushed so some are sort of blurry. Let me know what you think and if I should complain….

no, it’s definitely not 1 gallon. I calculated it and I believe it was 0.1-0.2 gallons. I ended up getting the ss brewcart and manifold so it’ll be even lower than this. So cutting my losses on doing decent sized 10 gallon batches or just may sparge if I want more efficiency

It has two of BT 120v heating elements. If you have two 20a outlets or higher, you can run the elements at 16 amp and get to boil very fast. Elements are also upgradable.
