SS Brewtech Brew Bucket -- worth $200

I have the Brew Bucket Brewmaster Edition and it is worth every penny I spent. Much easier to move than a carboy and much easier to regulate your temps if you get the thermowell. Other positives are: easy to clean, easy to avoid yeast and trub when kegging, replacement parts are available...

    How long grains keep

As far as milled grains...I've kept mine for close to 5 days in my pantry and they have been fine. Recently, I purchased a Ziplock tote for my unmilled grains. I was surprised at the seal that these have. They are inexpensive too...

    Dry Hopping and Cold Crashing

Why not dry hop for the 4-7 days once fermentation is finished and crash in the keg? Seems like a lot more work for the same result.

    The Home Made Pizza Thread

I was pleasantly surprised at the difference in taste. Definitely sticking with the shaving method. Have fun with the mixer. I started with one (Kitchenaid) and enjoyed it but have since moved to hand kneading.

Each cook is getting better. Tried shaving the cheese opposed to shredding. Amazing how different the pie is with something as small as how the cheese is cut.

    IPA Recipe critique

8% crystal is too much for my tastes but may not be for others. If it were my recipe, I would go 90% pale, 5% Munich, 5% crystal and drop carapils. I’ve only used it a few times and didn’t notice much from it. As far as the hops and whirlpooling, the hops look good to me. I prefer the majority...

    The Home Made Pizza Thread

I love pizzamaking.com but sometimes tracking down a recipe can be a pain with all the different versions. Would you care to share the recipe that you used for these?

Single IPA hop you can't live without

Nelson Sauvin. Hard to come by but so good when I have it.

Anyone doing small batches in Ss Brewtech Brew Bucket?

I said the same thing before I bought mine. Trust me, you won’t regret it!

    So who's brewing this weekend?

Brewing a beer inspired by Maui Brewing Pueo Pale Ale. Only info I have is that they use 2-row, crystal, Munich, Simcoe and Centennial. Should be fun! I haven’t brewed in almost a year so this packaging is new to me.
