Dent on the mouth of pin lock keg. Can it be fixed?

Thanks for all the advice. I contacted the seller and provided them with the same photos and they said that it was not fixable and are sending me a replacement keg. They even said I should keep the defective keg for parts. I am satisfied with them and may try to repair the defective keg at some...

Dent on the mouth of pin lock keg. Can it be fixed?

I bought two pin lock kegs and both had issues. One has a dent on the mouth of the keg. Like something was dropped on it when the lid was removed. It is deep enough to shift the lid. Not sure if it will hold pressure though I haven’t tried yet. How can I safely remove the dent?

Question about when to bottle beer.

Thanks, I wasn’t sure how long I could wait.

Question about when to bottle beer.

I started two 6 gallon batches of beer this week. Both kicked off and are fermenting great. My question is, how long can I leave the beer in the primary fermenter before I put it in bottles? I have a week long vacation coming up and don’t want to bottle green beer. If fermentation isn’t done...

Emptied my first keg. Line and tap cleaning?

I see that there are products that say I should “mix and pump through the lines and tap”. Other people recommend dissembling and soaking. Any suggestions and products ideas would be appreciated. The lines are not “stained “ and the tap doesn’t leak. I built a kezzer last year and I will need to...

    Regulator problem?

When I filled the tank and hooked it up it read almost the same as it does now. I was under the impression that cold co2 would be more likely to show lower pressure than say room temperature co2. I didn’t worry about it. I have closed the tank valve and dumped the pressure on the manifold and...

    Regulator problem?

I carved two tap handles and waiting on a cypress knee for the third. I looked at several videos online and this is what I came up with. Not sure about the rear sealing tap. The offender was the far left black plastic handle.

    Regulator problem?

No gas no liquid. Once I increased the co2 pressure to 12 pounds the regulator started chirping and I got beer flow. I started with rebuilt kegs. I replaced all o rings and have checked for leaks several times. I fixed all I found. New build and I am trying to get it right. I just don’t have any...

    Regulator problem?

Thanks for the reply. The keg had no pressure. I should have explained better but didn’t want to write a mini novel. I have a cream ale, a Dortmunder and a nut brown ale. The cream ale and Dortmunder poured fine but the nut brown was a bit foamy when poured at 12 pounds. I reduced the co2 to 10...

    Regulator problem?

I have been using for a month or so. The beer line does not look like it was frozen. It was almost like it had blown dry. I have a small fan on the bottom of the Keezer blowing up. I taped my ink bird probe to the bottom 1/3 of the middle keg. Temp is mostly steady +- 2 degrees.

    Regulator problem?

I built a Keezer this summer and I made 3 batches of ale to keep on tap. Last night I had an issue that was kinda strange. I poured a glass of ale and the keg wouldn’t give any more. I pulled the prv and n pressure in the keg. Guage on regulator still at set point of 10 pounds. All valves open...
