I've brewed quite a few batches. I get brew ingredients from Northern Brewer and have always been very happy. I've never made my own recipe...just use one of their kits.
My question is what would happen if I added ingredients to their kits? Adding extra malt and/or hops?
Can I mess up the batch...
Any idea on what is considered too cold? We put them in our kitchen which isn't well insulated and so always feels cool. I'm guessing temp was around 65 degrees while bottles were conditioning, maybe a little cooler.

We both waited the same amount of time. Like I said, only difference I can think is bottles were in a cooler place before I put in fridge.
We also did another brew and there were no issues.

A buddy and me have brewed a lot of batches and so this problem that I'm having with a new batch is peculiar to say the least.
We did a Rye IPA and split the batch between us. He has zero problems, but I'm getting a ridiculous amount of excessive foaming. The only difference I can think of is...
