    Show us your Kegerator

I didn't like the look of the freezer top so I threw that curtain on there. And I need to make a drip tray. The stainless ones are super nice, but this is a budget build. Thanks!

    Interest for Sturbridge Homebrew Club?

Just checked out their website. Don't know how I missed it before. It looks really good. They meet at déjà brew, which looks like a pretty awesome spot. Thanks!

I say we set a date for a meeting and just see how it goes. If we get any others interested in the meantime, great.

I know it's been a while, but I've just started home brewing in January and I'm definitely interested in this action. What's going on here if anything? Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew

    Help: dish soap in beer

Just a minute. It was a normal wash, scrub, with a soft sponge and heavy rinse. And I'm a rinseaholic. I rinse the crap out of everything. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Home Brew mobile app

    Help: dish soap in beer

I have this same issue! I cleaned out a bucket with dish soap to use as a secondary for my limeaid wheat. Its been hanging out in the chamber for almost a week now after adding the simply limeaid. Just went and pulled a gravity sample, 1.008 BTW, and it tastes exactly like the dish soap I had...

    A sad day

I have to say thermometers have been my biggest source of frustration thus far. I was excited about an electronic remote probe one I got from wally world. Until it got wet and read about 80° off. I'll be picking the CDN up asap. Thanks for the advice. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Home Brew...

    A sad day

Thanks. Yea I didn't want to take any chances. We're busy all weekend so it'll have to be next week. I'll be kicking myself all week. Basically its a thermometer inside of a floating glass tube with steel shot looking stuff glued inside the bottom so when it broke I had the steel shot, whatever...

    A sad day

I'm a total noob and I just proved it yesterday when I had to throw out a batch of american amber ale just before it made it to the primary. This was my 5th batch and 4th all grain batch. Everything was going so smoothly. I was hitting my temps and gravity numbers, thanks to taking good notes...
