i just saw the scale recipe feature in beersmith has anyone used this to scale up their recipe it doesn't exactly double everything but it says that it matches color and bitterness. anyone have any experience with this?

to make a 10 gallon batch out of a 5 gallon recipe do you just double everything or is there more science to it than just doubling all ingredients?
