    First brew need a little input

    After someone advised me on here(I can't believe i didn't think to do it that way right away) I just put the beer in the tube my hydrometer came in. worked great for my final readings :D

    Turk. thanks alot for that information man. I've already given a few away. ect. ect. I'm definitely stocked with plenty left over to wait a week and see how they are then. :D @Tall Yotie, The thing is, I'm not a big fan of the darker chewable beers myself.

    I just dipped into my first brew. two weeks after bottling. It's definitely fizzier than I expected. I couldn't drink it from the bottle so i just poured it into a pint glass and let it air out for a second. I brewed a strawberry wheat and I wasn't so sure it would come out after reading a post...

    Bottle to bottle consistency - is stirring ever recommended?

    After reading this post.... I think I am doomed. I recenter bottled my first beer a week ago. I had no idea I wasn't supposed to stir the beer to get the priming sugar mixed in. :( :( :( I siphoned it from my primary into my secondary bottling bucket. then stired it up to mix the sugar... haha...

    If anyone else wants to chime in that would be great. Right now I'm going with RM-MN on the whole waiting a little longer thing. I took a reading today though and got 1.012 again. so its been steady for three days. so far the score on here is one for bottle it, and one for wait :P

    I am in the middle of my first brew right now. I've let it sit in the primary for almost two weeks now. It's a strawberry wheat extract kit. (well, a wheat excract kit with strawberry flavouring added.) I thought because it kept bubbling it just wasn't ready but i felt like it had been in there...
