Hello everyone! I'm not dead. However, that bitter after taste makes me not want to drink more than one glass. I may end up dumping a bunch just because it's not too pleasant. I am still pretty new to brewing, though, so I can't be sure that the after taste is even the result of the iodophor.

OK, I tried it. It's drinkable. Not amazing, has a slight bitter aftertaste on the middle of the tongue, but overall it still resembles a wit. Not sure if it's due to iodophor or the fact that it's my first all-grain attempt. Wouldn't make a night of it but a couple of glasses are OK. Hasn't...

Well, my batch is 3 gallons of jamil wit and my first attempt at all-grain. It's fermenting away right now. I'll post the results when it's ready and I've tried it.

I just did the same thing! Decided to pitch it and see what happens because the yeast would have gone to waste anyways, though I'll probably come to my senses and dump it tomorrow. I'm just still in shock and not ready to let go of my batch :(
