Just bought a new replacement regulator gauge 0-30psi version. My old gauge would screw in so when tight the front of the gauge would face front. On the new one, when tightened all the way, it ends up being about 45 degree angle or so from facing front. Both gauges are exactly the same. Any...
Danby must have slightly redesigned this fridge then. I only have 3.25 inches between the light and the backplate. If the backplate wasn't curved at the top, I would have lots more room. Suggestions?
How much space is between the light and the backplate? I feel like maybe they changed the fridge design slightly as its barely over 3 inches of space on mine...
Has anybody moved / relocated the light to make more room to mount the tap tower? If so - how easy is it? It's kinda a tight fit. My tap tower has mounting holes that are 2.75" apart...
For the people who have done this build - is a piece of wood or something 100% necessary on the top for added support for the tap tower? About to do this build and want to keep it as simple as possible. Was thinking about just using some oversized washers on the inside when mounting the tower...
I currently have the popular Frigidaire that everyone converts to a kegerator and it has the stainless "look". I am building another one and am considering the Danby because i hear its an easier conversion. I just havnt seen this one anywhere in the usual stores to see the actual finish on the...
Hey guys, hopefully someone can answer this. Looking to build a kegerator. Question about the "finish" of the Danby. Is the stainless door that fake stainless look like the Frigidaire? Or does it look like the real stainless that gets super fingerprinted up?
OK, so I popped the lid on the yeast vial - and a small amount spewed out for some reason. I probably lost 1/8th to 1/10th of the vial. I went ahead and made my yeast starter as usual. Should I get another vial - or do you think the yeast starter will be fine?
I will probably just dry hop with some Amarillo and sweet orange peel. I am still thinking of adding some Flavorice at kegging though. Doesnt seem that much different then adding the syrup to a traditional Berliner Weisse to me...
I already did some sweet orange peel at the end of the boil - but I dont think its gonna be enough. No idea why I think this would really be good, but for some reason I do...
OK - in the summertime, I love those big giant Fla-Vor-Ice pops we all had when we were kids, especially the orange ones. Want to make a beer that kinda tastes like that. Have a saison in one of the fermentors now - tempted to just dump an orange Fla-Vor-Ice into that or when kegged. Thoughts?
