Thanks for the info, I may try to brew something like this soon, one last question as i am a complete noob, where do you get the pot. sorbate? I hear it talked about but have no clue. Also, did you use any nutrient? I noticed in the other thread it was mentioned to help with the acidity

    Drop top Cranberry HARD lemonade

Sounds tasty, have you done this or a similar recipe before? I am thinking of something like this, maybe with peach for the SWMBO and friends. How long do you plan on having this in secondary and do you plan on carb'ing this? thanks for the info, and good luck :mug:

    What's brewing this weekend?

Plans are to rack my first ever batch to secondary, then brew a double chocolate stout kit as well as my 2nd batch of Apfelwein. I just started, and already I think I need more carboys. Its an addiction!

How many gallons of EdWort's Apfelwein have been made?

"Assembled" my first 5 gallons of this today (and only my 2nd brew ever) on the recommendation of a friend. 1150

Hi All, first post here. Have only brewed one batch (thats still in primary) and I am addicted! Anyways, I bought a Maple Beer extract kit not realizing that its a lager. I dont have the equipment to keep everything cool enough. My question is what happens if I use an Ale yeast for this...
