On my first batch i broke 3 bottles at the neck in one night opening them on a wall mounted opener. I have your same capper. I believe it can crack the bottles if you apply to much pressure. I also only use a hand opener now and I check for cracks. If a bottle looks iffy in anyway I throw it out.

I primed and then racked it. I read in the directions to gently stir for 1 minute. I should be okay. Only my 3rd time bottling do thanks for the input folks!!
Dissolved priming sugar in 2 cups boiling water. Dumped in bottle bucket. Racked beer on it but never stirred. Bottled beer as normal. I'm thinking everything probably mixed just fine. Anyone ever do this?
Poured 3 glasses of beer at the same time. An Oktoberfest ale and a Scottish ale both of which I brewed using brewers best kits. I also poured a sam Adams winter lager. All 3 were very good. Nice head, great color. Oktoberfest is a bit cloudy. Hoppy with some sweetness. The scottish was very...
I believe it has been between 64 and 68 the whole time is been fermenting in the primary. I put it in 12/8. So its been a week at that temp. Luckily in west Phoenix Arizona it been roughly 68 degrees every day for the past few weeks. Makes maintaining temps easy.
Any suggestions on how long to leave this in primary? I don't plan on doin secondary. Any feedback on this particular kit would be great. From what I hear It probably won't be ready til the next holiday season! Thanks for any input. Happy Friday!!
