I am also in Florida, so I feel you on the fermention temp problem. Did you end up with a decent product? My friends and I have many questions about the best why to brew with lower temp yeast. Makes me that much more jealous/homesick of the "real winters."

What part of Central Florida? We have a small group in Highlands county and share supplies.. Maybe we might be able to help and offer advice as you grow in experience.
