    Okay. I was just curious, just as an adventurous project. I have a packet of belgian ale yeast in the fridge.

    As many people are aware, blue moon is an unfiltered wheat beer. That being said, occasionally is floculates and leaves sediment on the bottom of the bottle. What I am wondering is has anyone tried using that sediment to make beer with? Is it possible? Brandon

    I have a question. In mead making you aren't supposed to boil the honey because it will take away from the end product. Why do we boil the honey in beer? Would it make a better product if we, say, didn't boil the honey at all but added it right at the end?

    Just for sake of argumenting, it would be pretty easy to use the element. It is a single portable element that plugs into the wall normally. Either way, Deathbrewers brew is almost exactly what I was thinking. Thanks guys. And if anyone has any other ideas, I'm still listening.

    Welcome. I figure I might as well jump in here. I started a month and a half ago. I just found this site today. You Seattle guys are lucky. I have tri-state and Marketime drug for my two brewing stores while I'm at school.
