    Brew Boss Systems

I have to correct an earlier post I made. As it turns out, the Kindle Fire HD 8.9" WILL run the Brew-Boss app. All I can say is there must have been a problem with my Fire on the day I tried to download it. Everything else was working, but the app would not download. It wouldn't even get part...

    Brew Boss Systems

*Edit This was a problem with my Fire on that particular day. I later (weeks later) found the app was installed and works. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Although the BrewBoss app is available in the Amazon app...

    Brew Boss Systems

For my uses, it's looking like I'll buy the BiaB version rather than the COFI version. The COFI limits the max amount of malt too much for me. I really wish the kettles were a little bigger.

    "Session" IPA's - let's hear it!

Can't wait to hear how it comes out. I don't think you'll regret the mash temp. Even if it does stop at 1.014 I think it will seem lighter than you might think a 1.014 beer would bee. Lots of that depends on where you start. I think 1.050 to 1.016 would be perfect. That will be my goal for next...

    "Session" IPA's - let's hear it!

This looks great for a beer on cask especially. The last small IPA I did was a mini version of Sublimely Self Righteouis and originally it was so over done in all aspects of hoppyness and so under done in body and sweetness I just left it alone for about 4 months (tasting occasionally) as it was...

    "Session" IPA's - let's hear it!

I posted this yesterday, not sure why it didn't go through. Start 6 point higher and end 6 points higher. You'll need way more back bone in this beer than in an Ordinary Bitter. Skip the sugar too. a FWH addition is also a good idea but you won't need nearly as many IBUs in a beer of this...

    Free The Nitro!

The Guinness guy did it for appearance. This is not the same as Nitro beer on tap. Can't say you shouldn't try it as it is ridiculously cheap, but don't be surprised when your beer does not have the nitro head.

    HBC 342 hops

Mosaic is a good name for that hop. I had Schlafly's all HBC 369 beer last week and it was like Citra, Columbus, and Sorachi Ace in that order. Tropical with a little bit of stank and lemongrass. I have 6 ounces o HBC 342 at home but no opportunity to use it yet.
