    Help calc my efficiencies

Ok, that makes more sense. I collected 7 gal pre-boil volume at 1.047. Putting those numbers in I get 85% pre-boil efficiency. I used a hydrometer and put all my samples in the fridge until they were at 65.

    Help calc my efficiencies

By total I meant brew house efficiency. Using the linked calculator, my conversion efficiency was a crappy 44% but my brewhouse efficiency was 71% seems kind of odd.

    Help calc my efficiencies

I've done a number of all grain batches but never looked at any values other than post boil and final gravity. I just bought my first mill and want to know how I did on efficiency. Here's the grain bill: 6.5 lb Marris otter 1lb toasted malt 1lb victory malt 1lb melenoiden 1lb crystal...

    My Fermentation Fridge Build

You're probably right about that. I don't use the drawers for anything.

    Big Mouth Bubbler quality issues

I have a plastic big mouth and have zero issues with it. No bubbles in the plastic and the lid seals fine. Granted that's only a sample size of one but I am planning on buying another at some point.

    Brewing with Molasses

I used it in an amber ale just recently. I added a cup as a late boil addition. The molasses I used was home made on a local farm during a molasses festival so it doesn't get fresher or higher quality. Beer turned out great. Hints of raisen and spice and a bit drier than it would have been...

    My Fermentation Fridge Build

Yeah, a small fan is probably a good idea. Believe it or not, I've had 5 full kegs on that shelf and it's never been a problem. Thanks.

    Hello from the Carolinas

Hello everyone. Obligatory first post here... :mug: I did my first brew about 10 years ago. Got a beginners kit with an extract recipe kit and proceed to make a complete mess of it LOL!. After 7 or 8 batches I packed everything away because of a move. Then about 2 years ago finally decided to...

    My Fermentation Fridge Build

As a way of saying hello to every one, I though I would share my ferm-a-fridge project that I completed about a year ago. Hope you like it. First step was to install the yellow 110V receptacles onto the ends of the power cords for the heat and cool circuits. Then install the box coupler, cord...
