I see how its good during wort transfer - to help aerate and invigorate the yeast fermentation process.
So I need a gentle process then as it makes its way to the bottle since I'm just carbonating essentially and don't want to re-initiate another fermentation process by re-aerating the yeast...
Wondering if I can save time and use the strainer i used to pour mash into my primary and screen out the yeast muck?
So i would prep the priming sugar and pour into my bottling bucket, then pour the primary fermenter contents through my pro grade strainer mesh into the bottling bucket...
The lighting is bad in basement so i even used a flood light right in front of area and it was still too dark
i use the wand already, it fills so fast, and drinking while bottling so reaction time slower lol
I think i need a flat light of sorts to set the bottle on top of maybe?
my dark brown bottles hard to see when get full during bottling
leads to overfilling
any quick/cheap/easy lighting tips?
aside from a led lit bottling wand not sure
i think i have a good one fermenting
its been going 2 days in primary and i actually smell hops aroma in the basement
when i walk by the primary
excited!
1st few batches submerged everything in gallons of water and appropriate mixing of IOStar sanitizer.
Wouldn't it be easier, cost less, to mix up small batch and spray bottle everything instead?
Pro's/Con's?
Obviously Im a newb so give it to me straight!
Thanks

I gave it another week and 3 days in fridge, better but still not what i expected...maybe its gonna just be not what i expected... i'll let them sit another week and fridge again for 3 days and try again? good idea or will the bottles i have start to get worse if i wait too long?
yeah i fukn hate chlorine...i've got a PUR water filter on my faucet - i just didn't use it for whatever reason - that would be an easy start...
you drive to the natural spring and pick up water jugs or what now? sounds tree huggin cool to me!
ok - his goal wasn't necessarily cheap, more like cheap & redneck! like how would mc gyver do it with materials in his house or what not... not too chabby!, i myself would like to lower the cost of my brews - good beer kits shipped are about 35 to 50 bucks.

http://www.midwestsupplies.com/lemon-coriander-weiss.html
