    My kegerator wont get the beer below 54F

    it has now been close to a day and its still at 54F the second thermometer is the same. I guess I did learn the hard way. Its a shame I spent all that money and I have $200 of warm foam. I let a friend at work talk me out of buying new.

    I started it empty a few hours before I got the keg. I will put another thermometer in there but it does feel warmer to the touch than I think it should.

    Just bought used kegerator that needs some work

    Ive now replaced the beer line, gas line, tap, regulator, refilled the co2 tank, and keg coupler (Apparently warsteiner has a different keg coupler). I have the keg in the kegerator now, but with the dial on max its stayin at 54F. I made a new thread on it.

    I like dark beer and Im tired of being forced to resort to an overpriced light beer anywhere I go. Because dark beer is so rare in america I havent tried that many. Hopefully in the next few years some dark beers will become available nationally. Until then I want to brew my own.
