Started with the can kit on the stove and moved into eBIAB with a friend. We used an Electrim Bin plastic bucket with a 2750 watt electric element. We used to brew on top of his dryer to use the 240v receptacle. The brew "kettle" has recently all but died, so built a new eBIAB system, complete with PID controller and 5500 watt 240v system.
