I’m for the first time barrel aging in a 15 gallon bourbon barrel. My plan because of lack of ideal equipment, my barrel will be stored anywhere from 65 to 70°. Is this too warm as long as it is not in direct sunlight or would it be better to store it in a cooler at 40°?
