I have had a few bottles in the 4 to 6 year old range, all were good, but a few weeks ago I was given 27 old heavy glass bottles from a friend whos father was a brewer, they were all full and brewed 19 years ago. I had to try one just to say I had tasted 19 year old beer. They were very malty...

I have 4 different beers on tap at one time.

A nice place to relax and have friends over.

The Hogg Inn is in Hogg Street hence the spelling with the double "g" and all the beers have pig related names, Black pig ale,and Hogsnort draught just to name a couple.

The name Hogg Inn came about because I live in Hogg Street. (double meaning, hog into my beer at the Hogg inn)

The tree is a walnut, over 100 years old, beautiful most on the year but can make a real mess when the leaves and walnuts fall

The reason the tv is on that wall is that I have a leather lounge at the end of the bar facing the tv where I relax and watch the football etc.

The weber is just another of the toys I have, I like my steak over charcoal. I'll post a pic of the pizza oven and some more updated ones in the bar.
