Is this pot ok to use? (pic)

I borrowed this pot from a friend, he has cooked crawfish in it before. I have scrubbed it really good but there are some spots on it (see pic). Is this going to cause any off flavors? I boiled some water in it earlier and tasted it after it had cooled and it tasted normal.

SN pale ale dry hopping question...

I bought the SN pale ale clone kit from AHB. I also ordered some Amarillo pellet hops that I am planning on dry hopping with. Would this be a good idea or should I just leave them out. The hops used in the kit are 1 oz perle for 60 mins, 1 oz cascade last 15, and .5 cascade at 0 mins.

Tasted a beer after 3 days in bottle...

It tasted kinda dry and a strong alcohol taste. The OG was around 1045 and FG was about 1008-1006. It's the coopers lager kit. Well bottle conditioning help this and is it normal?

Just bottled my first brew, now some questions

Yeah I did all that stuff right, and I only used a couple clear bottles so I could see how cloudy the beer was, and I know it was done fermenting. I was just wondering why there are already bubbles in the beer right after I bottled it.

Coopers lager isn't really a typical lager, it uses a dry ale/lager blend yeast I think.

Yeah I will make sure I have a smaller boil next time. Also the beer is fermenting at about 72 degrees, is this too high?

Been reading for a couple week now and today I finally brewed my first homebrew today and everything went pretty good but the only thing Im worried about is that when I was heating everything up I never got to a boil but im pretty sure it was very close. Will this affect my brew? Another thing...
