I tried a batch and my yeast keep stalling. I used some Premier Cuvee wine yeast I have a lot of, but it doesn't seem to work for what ever reason. Anyone have a batch continually stall? I've even swirled it over several days to kick them back into gear... I did 5 gal water, 1tbs yeast...

I'm going to have to try and mess around with a version of this... Loving all the variations.

I do reverse the gas when I carb and go down the dip tube/spear. However it doesn't seem to make a large difference, since the bubbles are large, and not small like I was using a CO2 stone. Someday I'll have a bright tank, someday.

Perfect. Thanks everyone. I thought this was the case, but just wanted to confirm. I've over carb'd a number of times. The headspace does slightly from keg to keg. So the absorption rate isn't always exact each time. I may try the 30psi / 24 hrs thing, I just am afraid of over-doing it.

I've been kegging for a while and most of the time I just hook it up and forget about it for a while. But recently I need to move a bunch of cider through faster in the carb process. I just wanted to confirm with people who know more than I regarding carbonating... Target volume of...

I'm just looking for some results for anyone that has used blackberry puree in cider? I'm thinking about doing a batch, now that it's apple pressing season. I made blackberry wine this year so I'm burned out of picking blackberries, so I'm really interested if the puree's would/will work well...

I've had the same hydro for 10 years. Still in one piece. However if it broke I wouldn't be too sad, it's slightly out of calibration now. :)

I'd have to agree, DFH 120min is an incredibly complex and delicious beast.
