    Off Flavors!!!

Will do that. Yeah they usually have been tapped by then so not much time to mature.

    Off Flavors!!!

I am having the same issue in about 12 batches. I have never bottle conditioned and have only force carbed. All batches tasted great post boil and post fermentation. It has been very discouraging. We had several glasses of our last batch before it was carbed and couldnt wait to tap the keg but...

    Partial Mash Question

Yeah, the reason I was asking was because I was steeping like 6lbs of grains and didnt know if I needed to add more water for the DME. Previously I was only steeping like 2lbs max and didnt think twice about it. Thanks guys, I looked around in the threads but I didnt find what I was looking for.

    Partial Mash Question

If 1qt/lb of water for grains. Would it be .75qt/lb of LME and .6qt/lb of DME? Does it even make a difference?

    Irish Stout First Brew Question

I believe that we followed the instructions good. My initial hydrometer reading was were it needed to be. The primary fermentation bubbled the airlock vigorously after about 12 hrs and was pretty steady for about 3.5 days but hasn’t done anything from day 3.5 till 5. I took another hydrometer...
