    Adding spices to red wine

    hi, i'm about to do my first fruit (black curent and raspberry wine) i'd like to add a few bit's n bats, e.g. star anise, pepper corns, juniper berries, just a few to add an edge to the wine. Has anyone used such things before when brewing? thanks itsdanny
